STG Awarded Enterprisewide Computer Operations Support to the Army Research Laboratory

Fairfax, VA, December 19, 2001 - STG, Inc., a rapidly growing information technology, telecommunications and security services firm, announced the award of a multi-million dollar task to provide enterprise-wide computer operations support to the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) using the COMMITS contract vehicle. ARL selected COMMITS because it is performance-based, solutions-oriented, and offers a streamlined procurement process.  

Under the terms of this five-year award, STG will provide enterprise-wide support in a wide range of areas, including knowledge management, applications and systems programming, network management, and high performance computing to ARL at multiple locations. These include Aberdeen, MD, Adelphi, MD, and Research Triangle Park, NC. A future work site will include White Sands, NM.
