Fairfax, VA, July 22, 2003 ? STG, Inc., a government information technology, engineering, and scientific services provider, today announced the award of a COMMITS task order for an IT Customer Support Center for the Office of the Secretary, Department of Commerce. The contract life cycle value is $16.6M for the base and four option years.
STG will provide level 1-3 IT help desk support, voice over IP telephone, continuity of operations, web development, teleconferencing, and network administration services to the Office of the Secretary and Department of Commerce Operating Units residing in the Herbert C. Hoover Building.

STG?s initial focus will provide rapid response help desks for the Office of the Secretary, Office of the Inspector General, and building-wide voice over IP telephone support. This initiative reflects STG?s proven past performance?having recently been recognized by DoC?s CIO for their role in the technical support of a new digital network and telephone system throughout the Herbert C. Hoover Building.
