STG Hires Tamera Rush as VP, Defense Sector
Will Lead Aberdeen Operations

Aberdeen, Md. — November 16, 2011 — STG, Inc. (STG) has hired Tamera Rush as Vice President, Defense Sector, to provide IT support services to its current Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) and Edgewood Chemical and Biological Center (ECBC) customers. Ms. Rush will also be responsible for operations management and strategic growth in the Aberdeen, Md. region.

Ms. Rush has been accorded numerous industry accolades, including the 2011 Athena International Award for Women’s Leadership, presented in recognition of professional excellence, community service and actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. She also received from former Vice President Al Gore the Hammer Award for her work involving the reinvention of government principles that support development of non-toxic ammunition. 

Before joining STG, Ms. Rush served as SRC Inc.’s Director, Federal Market in Aberdeen, where she accumulated significant successes attributable to her keen customer insight, ability to develop strategic partnerships, and her commitment to her employees. She holds an MS in Organic Chemistry, a BS in Chemistry, and a BS in Secondary Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
