ATEC Grants STG Four-Year Contract Modification
STG to Provide Critical IT Support to Aberdeen Test Center

Reston, VA — July 08, 2011 — STG, Inc. (STG) was awarded a contract modification to the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Enterprise Information Technology Support Services (EITSS) contract, valued at nearly $9 million. As prime, STG will provide mission IT support to the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) in the areas of Help Desk Support, Network Operations Support, Software Development and Information Assurance. This is a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract that was awarded under STG’s ITES-2s GWAC. 

“STG was chosen by ATC because of our demonstrated ability to support multiple task orders under the EITSS contract for ATEC,” said Jim Felter, STG SVP Defense Sector. “This longtime customer recognized that combining contracts with the ATEC EITSS contract would further facilitate collaboration and more effective solutions across the command.”

ATEC ATC provides testing and test support services for various DoD customers and is the lead test center for various Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities. It provides critical test data and analysis to decision makers to ensure that essential systems are provided to the warfighter with the required capabilities. ATC is responsible for the success of many systems deployed to the U.S. Army and various DoD organizations.
