STG Named Awardee on ARDEC Contract
Will Provide Mission-Critical Support to Assist the Warfighter

Reston, VA — October 14, 2010 — STG, Inc. (STG) has been awarded a U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) services support contract. Under the terms of this IDIQ contract, which carries a ceiling of approximately $15 million over 5 years, STG will provide consultant, management, analytical, engineering and technical services in support of life-cycle mission functions spanning early technology concepts through demilitarization.

“STG’s technical and project management staff provided the Army with the unique set of skills necessary to achieve program success,” said Jim Felter, STG SVP, Defense Sector. “STG has 16 years of ARDEC experience, as well as a unique, hands-on understanding of the Picatinny Arsenal environment and culture.”

ARDEC is an internationally acknowledged hub for the advancement of armaments technology and engineering innovation. As one of the specialized research, development and engineering centers within the U.S. Army Materiel Command, ARDEC is responsible for meeting this critical demand. ARDEC’s workforce provides life-cycle support for approximately 90 percent of the Army’s lethality used every day by the U.S. warfighter. Team STG, which consists of WisEngineering, RiViDium and JGA, will provide a wide variety of services in support of ARDEC and numerous mission-critical operations supporting our warfighters across the globe.

“Since 1994, STG has provided continuous support to ARDEC as it has evolved to enable the warfighter to meet demanding technological change and rising external threats presented by the Global War on Terror (GWOT),” said STG President and CEO Simon Lee. “STG has the right blend of capabilities and proven performance to support all facets of this mission.”
