Reston, VA — December 2, 2008 — Ventura Technology Enterprises, Ltd. and STG, Inc. announced today that they have won a $29 million, 5-year contract to provide IT services to U.S. Army’s Pacific-Theater Network Operations and Security Center (PAC-TNOSC). PAC-TNOSC’s mission is to operate, manage and defend the U.S. Army portion of the Pacific Theater Information Grid (Pacific LandWarNet) to ensure the effective delivery of network operations (NETOPS) to support the diverse mission set of the Pacific area warfighter.

Team Ventura will provide timely, secure, and responsive 24x7x365 IT services to users in the Pacific area of responsibility (AOR). This includes providing a stable IT environment and a flexible, cross-trained support staff to a geographically distributed enterprise. “Ventura Technology has over 10 years of experience performing IT and systems engineering support services to Pac Rim customers within the Department of Defense,” said Bob Ventura, president and CEO of Ventura Technology. “Partnering with STG gives Team Ventura a broader understanding of all requirements and an unparalleled capability to perform on this contract and ensure mission success.”
PAC-TNOSC mission functions cover 20 task areas, including NETOPS, computing, enterprise management, and internal services, to deliver seamless command, control, communications, computers and information management (C4IM) common user services in support of all Army entities in the Pacific AOR.
“STG has the experience and personnel to excel on this job. We have a 10-year relationship with the U.S. Army, including more than 7 years working in Army NOSC environments,” said Simon Lee, STG President and CEO. “We are excited to partner with Ventura, who understands the region and brings significant knowledge of Pacific Rim operations and systems.”
