STG Appoints Paul Fernandes Head of Defense Sector

Reston, VA — July 31, 2007 — STG, Inc. announced today that Paul Fernandes has been named Senior Vice President, Defense Sector. Mr. Fernandes will be responsible for the operation and oversight of STG’s Defense Sector, which has more than 600 employees and revenues of nearly $100 million.
Mr. Fernandes brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has been with STG since 2004, having previously served as Senior Vice President of STG’s Civil Agencies Sector.
“I look forward to leading the evolution of STG’s Defense Sector as we take it to the next stage,” said Mr. Fernandes. “There is already such a strong infrastructure within the group. It has the right mix of talented, professional team players and the systems and processes in place that breed success.”
STG’s Defense Sector focuses on providing performance-based support for warfighter systems and IT operations for the Department of Defense (DoD), including enterprise network, security and server operations; weapons systems development; software and application development; enterprise architecture; Web design; business process reengineering; test and evaluation support; enterprise help desk operations; linguistics; and financial management.
Mr. Fernandes offers more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions in growth-oriented information technology organizations focused on defense and federal agencies. He holds a BS in management and served in the U.S. Air Force.
