Just say the word — STG is there with the language services you need. We provide expert translation and transcription from foreign languages into English. Our experts are fluent in more than 100 languages and dialects. STG linguists are native speakers or heritage linguists or have acquired native-level fluency. They are skilled in translating Web, print and broadcast communications.

Our customers are primarily the U.S. government and U.S. military — we understand the sensitive nature of their mission, and we take extreme care in selecting our staff. Our linguists are subjected to extensive background investigations, and the majority are U.S. citizens. A large number of our linguists are cleared up to the SCI level.

When it comes to language skills, STG has a reputation for setting the bar very high. Linguists are extensively tested for their ability to translate and transliterate from their native tongue into English. They undergo rigorous English editorial tests that are difficult even for native English speakers.

Our linguists do not just translate the words; most of our native speakers came to the United States as adults, bringing with them a sophisticated and nuanced understanding of the cultural and contextual aspects of the subject matter at hand.

Training Services and Educational Material
In professional and sensitive environments, high language proficiency is a must. Our language enhancement training programs are designed to meet the most demanding proficiency standards. Do your personnel need to build advanced proficiency in languages and dialects? We offer refresher courses and immersion/iso-immersion courses. Need training in less commonly taught languages? We provide hard-to-find, entry-level training. Training materials include textbooks and workbooks, publications, software, audio and other products in support of language learning. Most of our instructors are certified oral proficiency interview (OPI) testers.
